RB Construction was contracted to build and install approximately 64,000 SF of exterior pre-finished insulated metal panels including two (2) Cupola’s and exterior soffits at the building perimeters. Typical elevation height varies from 30 feet to 45 feet high. This project was to be constructed in one phase/mobilization. During the design submittals and prior to mobilization, the project was redesigned to accommodate new test cell modifications. To minimize the project schedule delays RB constructed the building in two (2) phases approximately 5 months apart. Insulated metal panels were delivered, offloaded and stored onsite 2 days prior to installation/erection. Total project duration was completed in 20 weeks, within schedule and to the owners’ satisfaction.
