Hamlin Residence Hall, Restroom Renovation, Rochester Hills, Michigan

This project involved the renovation of 145 existing suite restroom units at the Hamlin Residence Hall. The work included complete demolition of the existing countertops, sinks, faucets, sink drain tailpiece and coved ceramic tile base. New-cultured marble countertops with integral sink, faucet fixtures and connections to existing drain lines were installed at each bathroom unit. New mildew resistant gypsum board and new acrylic high impact bead board wainscot with matching trim were installed at each water closet location. The project was performed during the summer months in time for the fall semester occupancy.
